U100 (WYOO AM/FM)
This page is dedicated to WYOO AM/FM Radio, more popularly known as "U100," a vibrant and energetic radio station that left a lasting impression on the Twin Cities airwaves. Broadcasting on 980 AM and 101.3 FM, U100 served the Minneapolis–St. Paul area from August 1974 until September 1976. During its brief but memorable run, U100 became known for its bold, high-energy Top 40 format, colorful on-air personalities, and rebellious spirit that set it apart from other stations of the time. Though it was only on the air for just over two years, U100 developed a loyal following and remains a nostalgic favorite among radio enthusiasts and former listeners who fondly remember its unique sound and style.
