WYOO AM/FM (U100)
This page is dedicated to WYOO AM/FM Radio, more popularly known as "U100." During its brief but memorable run, U100 became known for its bold, high-energy “Rock 40” format, blending current Top 40 hits with album-rock selections. Its colorful, sometimes outrageous personalities, irreverent humor, and rebellious spirit set it apart from other stations of the time. Although U100 was on the air for only two years (1974–1976), it left a lasting impression on the Twin Cities airwaves and is still fondly remembered and talked about today. Relive U100 by listening to the first minutes of the station, its final day on the air, and many hours of programming from the two years in between.
