MINNESOTA TWINS POSTING HISTORIC RADIO PLAY-BY-PLAY BROADCASTS ON YOUTUBE
Since the Minnesota Twins acquired the radio broadcast rights in 2007, there has been a search for archived historic Twins games. For the past few years, Tom Gavaras with RadioTapes has been helping the Twins restore game broadcasts from WCCO Radio logger reel-to-reel tapes. These reels play at a very slow speed. Because of the slow speed, audio quality is limited. Game broadcasts are from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s with Herb Carneal, Halsey Hall, Merle Harmon, Ray Christensen, Frank Quilici, and others. The Twins are posting some of the games on their YouTube channel. Here is the LINK.
