Charlie Boone and Roger Erickson became household names in Minnesota for their warm on-air chemistry, engaging interviews, and a signature blend of humor and heart.
They were best known for their comedic skits—particularly the beloved recurring segment "Minnesota Hospital," a parody soap opera that poked fun at local culture and current events. In addition to comedy, Boone and Erickson regularly featured interviews with celebrities, authors, politicians, and major newsmakers, making their show both entertaining and informative.
A cherished part of winter mornings for many Minnesotans was Roger Erickson’s school closing announcements.
Charlie Boone passed away in 2015 at the age of 88, and Roger Erickson died in 2021 at the age of 89.
